Career Connections is a US Department of Labor funded program designed to help connect potential employees with employers. Many people have found themselves with degree’s or with specific skills but unable to find employment because of the drastic changes that have occurred in the job market. Career Connections provides unemployed people with a job counseling service, that helps people identify possible career options, refers clients to skill development programs that help them to develop the skills or qualifications necessary to apply for positions that are available in the current job market. Other counseling services available include resume development and preparation, online job search and interview set up and preparation.
